Step 2: Now, you should remove the screw that secures the battery connector to the logic board. Using a plastic opening tool, pry the battery connector from its socket.
Step 3: Carefully lift the battery and eject the SIM card from the holder and pry the lower antenna connector off from the Logic board.
Step 4: After this, you will have to remove the screws which connect the Wi-Fi antenna with the logic board and lift it up.
Step 5: Now lift the rear camera connector, digitizer cable, LCD Cable, Headphone jack, top Microphone, and Front Camera Cable.
Step 6: Once you have removed all the parts, it is time to remove the logic board from the iPhone. Now remove the speakers and the screws which hold the vibrator with the inner frame.
Step 7: Now remove the screws from the button and the SIM card side. After all the screws are removed, you can lift the top edge of the front panel assembly.
Step 8: Finally remove the display from the screen and you will be able to see the part which is damaged and causing the backlight issue.
Step 9: At last replace the damaged part and re-assemble your iPhone carefully.
