Method 1: Update the iPhone to the Latest Version of iOS
If you’re running an older version of iOS on your iPhone, you need to update your phone to the latest version of OS that has fixes for the aforementioned issue.

What this will do is it will trigger the app to check if newer version of the app is available to be downloaded.
