How to Use the AI Agent
With PDNob PDF Editor's AI Agent, you can simply tell it what you want done in plain language, and it will figure out the task and launch the correct feature for you—no need to hunt around. Follow these steps to get started:

Open the AI Assistant Panel
Launch PDNob PDF Editor and load the document you'd like to work on. Then open the AI Assistant panel on the right-hand side of the screen.

Tell the AI What You Need
Click one of the quick-access options in the panel, such as "Convert," "OCR," or "Compress."
Or type your own instructions directly into the input box, or press "/" to bring up the full list of supported actions.
The AI assistant will read your request and put together an action card for you to review before anything runs.

Confirm and Run the Task
Once you're happy with the action card, click Run to start processing the file. If you'd rather not proceed, click Cancel to return to the conversation instead.
While the task is running, the file will be temporarily locked and unavailable for editing or annotating until processing finishes.

Check Your Output File
Once the task is done, the assistant will confirm completion and show you exactly where the output file has been saved. Click the result to open the folder and continue working with your processed PDF.
