More AI Assistant Features in PDNob PDF Editor
PDNob PDF Editor introduces an advanced AI assistant that transforms how you work with documents. Instead of simply reading PDFs, you can now interact with them—translate, analyze, refine, and extract insights instantly.
The upgraded AI supports both PDFs and images (including screenshots). It delivers answers with source references and page numbers, helping you verify information quickly. It also suggests follow-up questions based on context, enabling deeper and more efficient document understanding.
1. Translate
Translate converts selected text or content into your preferred language while preserving meaning, tone, and formatting.
- Highlight the text you want to translate directly within the PDF. A floating AI toolbar will appear near your selection.

Click Translate, then choose your target language from the dropdown list.
- The translated result appears instantly in a floating panel. You can copy, regenerate, or compare it with the original text for accuracy.
2. Quote
Quote extracts key sentences from your document and provides precise source references for verification.
- Select a paragraph or ask a question through the AI panel based on the document content.

Click AI → Quote to let the system locate the most relevant excerpts.
- The AI highlights the extracted sentences and displays exact page numbers and source locations, ensuring traceability and reliability.
3. AI Search
AI Search allows you to ask questions and receive context-aware answers directly from your document.
- Open the AI Assistant panel or click on selected text to activate the input box.

Enter a natural language question such as “What are the key findings?” and submit it.
- The AI generates a structured answer with highlighted references. It also suggests related follow-up questions to guide further exploration.
4. Explain
Explain helps you understand complex text, formulas, or visual content by breaking them down into simpler explanations.
- Highlight technical text, formulas, or insert a screenshot/image into the document.

Click AI → Explain to analyze the selected content.
- The AI provides a clear explanation, identifies key concepts, and can even interpret diagrams or extract information from images.
5. Improve Writing
Improve Writing enhances grammar, tone, and structure to produce more professional and readable content.
- Select the text that needs improvement, such as emails, reports, or academic writing.

- The AI returns a polished version with improved clarity and tone. You can review differences before replacing the original text.
6. Continue Writing
Continue Writing extends your content by generating context-aware text that matches your original tone and structure.
- Select a sentence or paragraph that you want to expand.

- The AI produces a coherent continuation that follows the document’s context, making it ideal for drafting reports or expanding ideas.
7. Simplify
Simplify rewrites dense or technical content into clearer, more accessible language without losing key meaning.
- Highlight complex or jargon-heavy text.
