More AI Assistant Features in PDNob PDF Editor
Beyond summarizing and translating PDFs, PDNob PDF Editor includes a variety of other AI-powered tools designed to improve how you interact with text. As shown in the image below, these additional AI options appear in a floating toolbar when you select text within a document. These tools help you expand, refine, or modify content effortlessly - all directly within the editor.
Let's explore each function and how to use it.
1. Continuation
The Continuation tool helps you expand on the selected text. Whether you're writing a paragraph, article, or explanation, this feature generates more content in the same tone or style.
- Select a block of text in your PDF.
- Click the AI button on the floating toolbar.
- Choose Continuation from the list.
- The AI will generate the next few lines or a full paragraph that logically follows your selection.
2. Polishing
Polishing enhances the tone, flow, grammar, and structure of your selected text. It's useful for formal documents, reports, or anything you want to improve professionally.
- Highlight the text you want to improve.
- From the AI toolbar, click Polishing.
- The AI will revise the section and replace or display a cleaner version which option you choose from the drop down list.
3. Abbreviate
Use the Abbreviate feature to shorten lengthy paragraphs while keeping the main message intact. It's ideal for condensing long explanations or simplifying detailed descriptions.
- Select the paragraph you want to condense.
- Click Abbreviate from the AI toolbar.
- The shortened version will appear instantly.
4. Explanation
This tool helps explain technical, complex, or specialized content in simpler language. Great for academic papers, medical content, or legal documents.
- Highlight the text you want explained.
- Choose Explanation from the AI tools.
- A simplified breakdown of the text will appear in a pop-up box.
5. Translate
The Translate option lets you instantly convert selected text into another language. Multiple output languages are available.
- Select the text you wish to translate.
- Click Translate and choose your desired language from the dropdown menu.
- The translated text will display below the original or in a floating window and pick any language to translate it.
6. Summarize
When you only need the key points, use the Summarize option to get a condensed version of the selected section.
- Select the content to summarize.
- Click Summarize from the AI dropdown.
- A short summary will appear, which you can copy or save.
