PDF Conversion Settings
PDNob PDF Editor gives you granular control over how your files are converted. Whether you're exporting to Word, Excel, images, or PDF/A, you can fine-tune OCR, layout, quality, and format preferences to match your workflow. Follow the steps below to configure each conversion type effectively.
- Open PDNob PDF Editor on your computer and click "Open PDF" from the main interface.
- Select your file and click "Open" to load it into the workspace.
1. Convert PDF to Word with Settings
- Go to the "Convert" tab and select "To Word".
- Click the More settings to open advanced settings.
- Enable OCR for scanned PDFs and choose the correct recognition language to improve accuracy.
- Click "Apply", then start the conversion.
2. Convert PDF to Excel with Settings
- Open the "Convert" menu and choose "To Excel".
- Click the More settings and configure:
• Conversion mode: single worksheet or separate sheets per table
• OCR: enable for scanned tables
- Click "Apply" and then "Convert".
3. Convert PDF to Image with Settings
- Go to "Convert" and select "To Image".
- Open the More settings icon to adjust export preferences.
- Select your desired format (JPG, PNG, etc.) and set the image quality.
- Click "Apply" and proceed with conversion.
4. Convert PDF to PDF/A with Settings
- Under the "Convert" tab, choose "To PDF/A" and click the More settings.
- Select the required PDF/A standard (such as PDF/A-1b, PDF/A-2b, etc.) based on your archiving needs.
- Click "Apply", then start the conversion process.
