How to Edit Text in PDF
PDNob PDF Editor allows you to modify PDF content with precision while preserving the original layout. You can update, remove, or insert text, as well as adjust formatting such as font style, size, color, and alignment.
1. Edit or Delete Text in PDF
Follow these steps to modify or remove existing text in your PDF file.
- Open your PDF document in PDNob PDF Editor.
- Select the Edit tool from the top toolbar to enter editing mode.
- Click the text you want to edit. A highlighted box will appear around the selected content.
- To delete text, place the cursor and press Backspace or Delete.
- To replace text, double-click the content and enter the new text.
- You can continue typing within the same text block while maintaining consistent formatting.
- Use the top toolbar to adjust font, size, color, alignment, and other formatting options.
- If you are in another mode (such as Comment or Organize), switch back by clicking the Edit tool.
2. Add Text to PDF
PDNob PDF Editor allows you to insert text either directly into the document or as annotations.
Add Text to the Document
- Click the Edit tool, then select Add Text from the top toolbar.
- Click anywhere in the document to place a text box and begin typing.
- Customize the text style, including font, size, color, and alignment.
- Click outside the text box to apply and exit editing mode.
- If the Text tool remains active, click it again to disable continuous input mode.
Add Text as a Comment
- Select the Comment tool from the top toolbar.
- Choose the Text Comment option.
- Click anywhere in the document to insert a comment box and enter your notes.
- Adjust the font style, size, and color as needed.
