How to Crop and Split Pages in PDF
PDNob PDF Editor makes page layout adjustments more precise and efficient. Whether you need to trim unwanted margins or split content into separate files, the built-in tools give you full control with minimal effort.
1. Crop a Page in PDF
Use the crop tool to remove extra margins or focus on specific content areas with precision.
- Open your PDF and go to the Pages tab. Click Crop Page to enter cropping mode.
- A crop frame will appear. Drag the edges or corners to define the visible area. Fine-tune margins using the settings panel.
- For more precise control, you can:
- Enter exact margin values.
- Set custom page dimensions.
- Lock proportions to maintain layout consistency.
- Select where to apply the crop (single page, all pages, or custom range). You can also target odd or even pages. Click Crop to confirm.
Revert Crop
If needed, press Ctrl + Z before saving to undo the crop. Once the file is saved, the change becomes permanent, so review carefully before closing.
2. Split Pages in PDF
Split large PDFs into smaller files based on your workflow—by page count, size, or document structure.
- Open the Pages tab and click Split to access splitting options.
- Choose how to split the document:
- By number of pages
- By file size
- By top-level bookmarks
- Customize output file names by adding prefixes or suffixes, numbering sequences, or separators to keep files organized.
