How to Save Battery on iPhone X

There’s no doubt that Apple’s new iPhone X is the hottest smartphone around the world right now. OLED display, new camera design, Face ID and many other cool features have attracted many fans. However, some users have also complained some bugs in this brans new device, iPhone X battery drain fast is one of them. This issue does occur frequently especially after updating to the iOS 11.2 software. In this guide, I’ll show you some useful tips to save battery on iPhone X/10/8.

1.Restart Your iPhone X

Whenever iPhone X battery drains rapidly while charging, sleeping or not in use, try to restart it fist. There’s a little difference to reboot iPhone X compared with the older brands.

2.Quit Background Running Apps

Some people are used to running many apps at the same time and forget to close them when not using. This is a common reason for iPhone X battery dying issue. Try to close some apps on your device will save some battery percentages.

Since there’s no Home button on iPhone X, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold your finger in the display. Long press on the screen and then swipe up the apps you want to quit.

3. Download the Latest Update

Apple will release new iOS software periodically to fix bugs in the former versions. If your iPhone X battery drops quickly, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update to update to the latest software version.

4. Turn on Low Power Mode

iPhone will get into low battery mode when the power is less than 20%. However, you can also turn on low battery mode anytime, this will disable some features like AirDrop, iCloud Sync, but is an effective way to stop iPhone X battery running out quickly.

Go to Settings -> Battery, toggle on Low Power Mode.

5. Use Wi-Fi

For many iPhone users, it’s not strange that cellular network is draining battery a little bit faster than Wi-Fi. Use Wi-Fi as long as you can is also an easy tip to extend battery life on iPhone X.

6. Disable Raise to Wake

The “raise to wake” feature will turn on iPhone screen once you pick up it, this will also use some battery power. Just navigate to Settings -> Display & Brightness to toggle off this function is also a good way to increase iPhone X battery life.

8.Reset All Settings

10. Restore to Factory Settings

Just open iTunes and connect iPhone to computer, click the phone icon once detected. Click “Restore iPhone” option to get your device to its original state.
