White Balance

The primary function of white balance is to correct color casts caused by different light sources (such as artificial lighting or daylight), ensuring that white objects in the image appear as true, neutral white. This helps the overall colors of the photo become more accurate and closer to what the human eye perceives. You can either select Auto White Balance to let the software adjust it intelligently, or use the White Balance Eyedropper for manual correction.

White Balance Eyedropper

The White Balance Eyedropper allows you to correct the overall color and temperature of a photo by selecting a reference point within the image. To use it, simply click or drag over an area that should be neutral in color—typically a white or light gray region, such as clothing, walls, or a professional gray card.

Based on the color data of the selected area, the software will automatically adjust the image’s color temperature and color balance, restoring whites to a neutral tone and correcting the overall color cast of the photo.
