Easily and Safely Exit Android Recovery Mode

How to Exit Android Recovery Mode

Step 1: Download ReiBoot for Android and connect your Android device to computer with the OEM USB cable. If your device is connected but unrecognized, please try one of options below:

  • Re-connect your device
  • Try another USB cable
  • Restart your device
  • Manually download and install the drives

Step 2: Then follow steps below to enable USB debugging on your device.

For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Turn on "USB debugging".

For Android 3.0-4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Turn on "USB debugging".

For Android 4.2 or 5.2: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Device" < Tap "Build number" for 7 times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Go back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Turn on "USB debugging".

For Android 6.0 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Device" < Click ”Software info” < Tap "Build number" for 7 times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Go back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Turn on "USB debugging".

Step 3: If your Android OS is 4.2.2 or above and your device asks you to allow USB debugging, please authorize your PC via your device.

Step 4: Now you can see the main interface of ReiBoot for Android as below. Simply click “Exit Recovery Mode” and follow the on-screen prompt to get your Android phone/tablet out of recovery mode.
