How to Fix iCloud Issues on Windows 10 PC

Part 1: Fresh iCloud install is rejected on Windows 10

This problem usually comes up when upgrading iCloud or when installing iCloud on a PC for the first time. Many people get stuck on the iCloud error 1722 when updating Windows versions to Windows 10.
