Q1: How to crop the video?
A1: Select the video and click the Edit button. In the Video Edit window, under the Crop tab, you can set the values in the Left, Top, Width and Height boxes, then the position and size of the cropping frame will be changed per the values you set.

Note: The defaulted maximum values of width and height are the resolution of the source file.
Q2: How to trim a segment from a video?
A2: Select the video and click the Edit button. In the Video Edit window, under the Trim tab, you can input certain time number in Start and End boxes manually. Please click OK to save the values.

Tip: You can click the Play Section button to preview the clip. Click the Reset button to reset the segment.
After finishing settings, Click OK, and you will get the segment after conversion.
Q3: How to add a watermark on the video?
A3: Select the file and click the Edit button. In the Video Edit window, under the Text/Image Watermark tab, click the square button in front of Enable, type some texts or import an image as a watermark. You can adjust the transparency and position of the watermark.
Q4: How to change video effect?
A4: Select the file and click the Edit button. In the Video Edit window, under the Effect tab, you can adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation of the video by dragging the sliders.
Q5: How to take a snapshot from a video?
A5: In Preview window on main interface, while the video is playing, click the Snapshot button to take a picture. Then you can click the Snapshot Folder button (on the right of the Snapshot button) to find the picture you just take.
Q6: How to improve the quality of converted files?
A6: The quality of converted files depends on the quality of source files and output settings. If the quality of source file is excellent, please select a larger value for resolution and bit rate for better quality (but no larger than the original's). Or you can try the HD formats or formats for Apple TV/PSP, whose default setting values are larger.

Please note that the size of output file will grow in pace with higher settings. The output quality can not be better than the original.
Q7: How to increase conversion speed?
A7: The conversion speed is determined by many factors, for example, source file size, computer configuration, output format, resolution, bit rate, frame rate, etc.
If you wouldnt mind, please try to use another format for comparison or lower the values of resolution, bit rate and frame rate. By the way, it may influence the output quality a little bit.

Note: You can manually type any resolution in the Settings dialog box. If the resolution you input is not standard, the program will adjust it a little automatically.
Q8: Which format shall I choose for the latest iPod Touch 3rd /iPhone 3GS/iPhone 4?
A8: Please choose iPod > iPod touch H.264 Video(*.mp4) format for the latest iTouch 3rd.
Please choose iPhone > iPhone 3GS H.264 Video(*.mp4) format for the latest iPhone 3GS.
Please choose iPhone > iPhone 4 Video H.264(*.mp4) or iPhone 4 HD Video(*.mp4) format for iPhone 4.
Q9: How to transfer files to my iPhone/iPod/iPad with iTunes?
A9: First, you have to save the converted files in your computer, and then transfer the files to your iPhone/iPod/iPad by iTunes. There lists some hints on how to use iTunes:

1. Link your iPhone/iPod/iPad to the computer and start iTunes. (If you do not have one, please download it from the apple official website http://www.apple.com/downloads/)

2. Click My iPhone/iPod/iPad under the devices, and choose the Manually Manage Music and Videos option in the summary window.

3. Click File menu and select Add File to Library option to locate your mp3 or mp4 files, then the added files will be automatically classified in the music or films category under LIBRARY.

4. Click music or film under LIBRARY, drag the music and film to My iPhone/iPod/iPad. And then click music or film under My iPhone/iPod/iPad, you will see the file in the right list.
Q10: How to transfer converted files to my Walkman?
A10: For some Walkman, you can copy the converted files to the Video folder of the Walkman directly; While for others, you have to use its own transfer tool (a software in a disc) to transfer the converted files to the Walkman.
Q11: How to transfer converted files to my Blackberry?
A11: To transfer the converted file to Blackberry, firstly, please check if there is a memory card in your Blackberry. Then please link the Blackberry to your computer, open it to show all the files in it. Find the Video folder in it (If there is not one, please create a new folder). Then you can copy and paste the files into this folder.
