The reason I wrote this article is I encountered endless reboot loop with iOS 11.2 beta update, so I immediately decided to downgrade iOS 11.2 beta to iOS 11.0.3 before it causing irreparable damage to my iPhone. If you happen to have the same problem with me, I’d like to share my experience about how did I restore from iOS 11.2 to iOS 11.0.3 without losing data.
So I firstly tried iTunes as many people will do, but it prompted that There was a problem downloading the software. After trying 3 times with no result, I resorted to another program called Tenorshare ReiBoot to remove iOS 11.2 beta from my iPhone 7, and it did successfully downgrade to iOS 11.0.3 without affecting my existing data.
Before you can uninstall iOS 11.2 on your iPhone, iPad, it’s strongly recommended to make a backup in case of unexpected errors.
So, this method works to downgrade iOS 11.2 to all public signed iOS firmware. Hope you can successfully go back to iOS 11.0.3 after reading this post.
