How to Enter Recovery Mode on iOS 11 Devices?

When your iPhone won’t boot, load or turn on, at this time, iTunes can’t recognize your device, you need to put your device into recovery mode to get it detected.

Way 1: Put your iPhone into recovery mode manually

This differs from different iPhone models as below:

For iPhone 8/iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X: Turn off your device and connect your iPhone to computer. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see iTunes logo shows up.

For iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see iTunes logo shows up.

For iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold both the Home and the Sleep/Wake (Top or Side) buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery-mode screen.
