How to Fix iPhone Stuck in Recovery Mode After/During iOS 10/10.3 Update

According to widespread complaints across social media, many iPhone and iPad users complained that iOS 10 bricked their iPhone ( iPhone stuck in recovery mode after/during failed iOS 10 update). We pick up one below.

“Today I've try to update my iphone to the latest iOS 10 version. But suddenly it got stuck with a charger icon pointing to iTunes app on the screen. The update process failed with a subsequent error message asking users to plug their iOS device into a PC or Mac for a complete restore of the operating system. I need some help here.”

Method1. Fix iPhone Stuck in iTunes Screen after iOS 10 Update with iTunes Restore

Note: If you follow this method of fixing an iPhone X/8/7/7 Plus/SE/6s Plus/6s/6 Plus/6/5s/iPad/iPod stuck in recovery mode, it would result in potential data loss unless you have first backed up your data on iTunes or iCloud.

Step1. Hold your iPhone “Home” button down and connect it to your PC with iTunes on.

Step2. Then a window would pop up and ask you to confirm to go on the restoration process.
