How to Manage Partition

Partition manager is one of set of powerful tools in Windows Boot Genius that work together to optimize your disk usage, and protect your data so that your partition can reach its unprecedented performance. There are four models supported for you to manage partition with the easiest steps, no matter you are a green hand, or veteran. It allows you do more in less time and make your partitions active in one easy step reducing time spent and risk of errors.

How to Create a Partition

If you want to create a partition, there must be unallocated space on your hard drive. If not, you need to shrink other partitions to free up unallocated space. Do as the following steps.

Select the unallocated space > Click Create button > Enter partition properties and set file system, partition label, drive letter, partition type and cluster size of new partition > Click Yes > Tap on Apply

How to Format a Partition

If you just want to format any one partition on your computer, Windows Boot Genius can help you a lot to make it with one click.

Select partition > Click Format in the interface > Select the file system, drive letter and allocation unit size > Click Yes > Tap on Apply

How to Delete a Partition

It is applied to delete any one partition on your computer completely, which will be time-saving and effortless.

Select partition > Click Delete > Tap on Yes > Click on Apply to finish

How to Resize a Partition

To maximize use hard disk or save drive space, you need to resize a partition – extend a partition or shrink a partition. To extend partition, there must be unallocated space on your hard drive. If not, you need to shrink other partitions to free up unallocated space.

Select the partition you want to shrink or extend > Click Move/Resize on the menu > Drag the slide bar to input the partition > Click OK > Tap on Apply to perform the operation
