The following is a detailed user guide on how to use Tenorshare Video Converter Pro for Mac. To get started, download the video converting software first and install it on your Mac.
After launching the software, you will come to the main interface. There are 2 options:
Convert a video or audio: Click the "Add Files" button at the top left to browser your computer's folders and select the file you want. Note that you can import multiple files at one time thanks to batch conversion.
Convert a DVD: Insert a DVD into your computer's DVD drive, and click "Load DVD" button. Select the DVD which contains the movie you'd like to convert and add it to the program. You can also convert DVD without the disc, using ISO files, or DVD Folder.
After importing files, click the drop-down button on the right pane to select your target output format. Specify a directory on your computer to save the output files. Under the format window, you will find that all the formats are divided into 3 categories, so that you can easily find the format you need.
Favorite: The converter will add recently used formats to this list automatically. You can also add certain formats to this category.
Format: In this category, the formats are further divided into Video, Audio, HD, Web and 3D.
Device: If you don't know which formats your device supports, you can just select the format according to the device name.
Click the "Convert" button at the bottom to start file converting. You can cancel the conversion by click the "Cancel" button, or stop any item you want.
Before the conversion, you can edit your videos and DVD files. Click to edit videos by trimming, cropping, adding watermark and subtitle, etc. Click to preview both the original and output video.
Trimming: This function enables you to rip any part of the video and help you customize the size of the video.
Cropping: It allows you to cut the black margins of the movie. You can also customize the video frame size: keep original, full screen, 16:9 or 4:3.
Adding Watermark: You can add text or image watermarks on the video.
Adding Subtitle: You can insert subtitle files to your video to make it better understood.
