How to Clone Entire Disk or One Partition

Cloning either hard disk or partition is an effective way to back up the data in Windows, thus avoid data loss if the hard drive is damaged or gets virus attack. Beside, you can also increase the hard drive capacity though disk cloning. What’s more, many companies install computers by cloning the hard drive since the computers are usually with the same configuration. Although there are good reasons to clone a hard drive, cloning a hard drive or one partition in Window is not that easy as you have thought, because the Windows built-in Disk Management won’t work on this issue. Steps to Clone Entire Disk

Step1. Run the program and get into main interface under the guidance. Then click Disk Tools first, and then select Clone Entire Disk from the left list.

Step2. Here your all hard disk on computer are listed with name, type, size and capacity. Select one you want to clone and click Next to move on.

Step3. At this stage, click Start to initial cloning. You can check progress with Progress Indicator. This step will take more time, depending on how large the files size is.

Steps to Clone One Partition

Step1. Run the program and get into main interface under the guidance. Then click Disk Tools first, and then select Clone one Partition from the left list.

Step2. Step2. Here your all partitions on computer are listed with name, type, size and capacity. Select one you want to clone and click Next to move on.

Step3. At this stage, click Start to initial cloning. You can check progress with Progress Indicator. This step to take how much time depends on how large the files size is.
